Operational evidence discipline
Capability Readiness
Direct answer
Readiness is proved in stages. K04 publicly demonstrates a governed knowledge base, reference architectures, capability boundaries, source records, and deterministic release evidence. It does not claim field deployment, live operations, customer authorization, or completed missions.
Readiness state model
| State | Meaning | Minimum evidence |
|---|---|---|
| DESCRIBED | Purpose and boundaries are stated. | Controlled definition, owner, scope, non-claims, and source basis. |
| ARCHITECTED | Components, trust boundaries, data flows, failure modes, and controls are specified. | Reference architecture, threat model, authority model, safety case, and interfaces. |
| PROTOTYPED | Representative software or hardware exists in a controlled environment. | Release hash, build provenance, dependency inventory, and reproducible test setup. |
| TESTED | Defined scenarios have repeatable results. | Test plan, scenario coverage, outcomes, defects, limitations, and independent verification. |
| INTEGRATED | The capability interoperates with named systems under controlled conditions. | Interface evidence, configuration, safety and security tests, and rollback. |
| DEPLOYED | Installed in an authorized real environment. | Authority, site record, release identity, acceptance, configuration, and incident process. |
| OPERATING | Currently performing an authorized function. | Fresh heartbeat, signed actions, service evidence, uptime window, incidents, and verification time. |
K04 public readiness
| Capability | Public state | Boundary |
|---|---|---|
| Knowledge and research synthesis | IMPLEMENTED | Inspectable static publication, governed corpus, claims, sources, corrections, and deterministic packages. |
| Critical-datacenter reference architecture | ARCHITECTED | Public design and control model; no site-specific engineering acceptance. |
| Autonomous cyber-defense capability | ARCHITECTED | Public bounded-autonomy architecture and test doctrine; no fielded service evidence. |
| Autonomous physical-security capability | ARCHITECTED | Public sensor, assurance, and authority model; no operational countermeasure claim. |
| Authorized cyber mission support | DEFINED | Public authority and assurance model; no customer authority or mission is claimed. |
| Live deployment and operations | NOT OBSERVED | No deployment was performed or externally verified by this release. |
